The spirit was distilled at Tamdhu Distillery in 2008, before being racked for maturation in a refill sherry butt for 15 years. It was bottled with no added colour and no chill filtration in August of 2023 as part of The Old Particular Midnight Series of Sherry Cask matured whiskies.
